this butterfly trinket dish is handbuilt using white stoneware. the insect is decorated with underglaze and a clear glaze layered on top. the piece is fired in a kiln to full vitrification, though this ceramic critter is fragile, so handle with care.

the piece you will receive is exactly the piece in the photo, so please review the images carefully before purchasing. because this is a handmade ceramic item, it will have slight imperfections (such as crazing) that do not affect the functionality of the item.
